Two Layouts & A Shabby Tag by Kim Price

Today I wanted to share a new layout featuring some gorgeous
Green Tara vines, leaves and roses along with a shabby style tag and
a recent layout I created also featuring lots of yummy flowers.

For my first layout I wanted to feature one of the new release vines -
which I just adore - along with some flower stems, leaves and a
beautiful deep purple coloured fabric primula. This came together
in no time at all - the two vines really do just speak for themselves
without too much more added to them - just add a few roses,
an extra flower and a couple of leaves and its done!

My second project for September is a shabby tag which shows off
a fabulous large poppy flower along with a couple of new azaleas.
These look so stunning together and the dimension is amazing.
Tags make a  wonderful alternative to a card or gift tag and
can be kept as a keepsake.
I've finished off this tag with a lace trim ribbon tied
in a large loopy bow - perfect.

The paper azaleas are perfect for adding your own personal touch
with a light spray of mist or even a touch of paint with a paintbrush
works well too! This photo gives a closer look at this technique,
where I have added a small spray of golden yellow coloured mist
to add just a touch of variation in colour.

And finally for this month I am sharing a recent project I created
using lots of Green Tara flowers. I wanted to cluster my flowers and
overlap the photograph covering most of my daughters hair. I think this
technique worked really well and this project is probably one of my
favourite scrapbooking pages from this year.
