Hello Sweeties, 

It's my turn to share with you some layouts I made with Green Tara beauties.

"La Tour de la Lanterne"

The Tour de la Lanterne (XV^e),situated at La Rochelle, 

is the last medieval lighthouse of the Atlantic Coast.

I wanted to color the flowers with the same orange

than the moss we can see on the front of the photo. 

So I choose a yellow Heirloom

 and I used diluted Silk paint in Ginger Peach and Harvest Sol to color it.

I colored the flower spray and the Calla Lillies with Twinkling H2O.

And I used the same Silk paints to color the Diamante flower.

" Le Jardin bleu d'Absolem "

"Le Jardin bleu d'Absolem" - The blue garden of Absolem - 

is one of the ephemeral garden of Chaumont-sur-Loire Castle. 

Do you know who Absolem is ? 

Well he is the caterpillar in "Alice in Wonderland" ...

I made three clusters of flowers. It helps to focus the attention on the photo. 

In the clusters around the photo, I used a Blue Wild Rose: 

the color is a perfect match with the butterflies one. 

The white/aubergine Apple Blossom 

and the lavender Roses match the color of the carpets.

" Red Berries " 

The colors of the photo are really contrast, so I went on the same idea to realize my layout:
bright green, red and black.

The Olive Xmas Vine were perfect to add the same kind of brightness to the embellishments. 

I cut the branch in small pieces in order to slip them under the flowers. 

The small green berries reminded the berries of the photo. 

I added a piece of Bud n Bow ribbon under the Black Lace Pearl and the Red Heirloom.

I like the fact that the Heirloom came in two sizes.

It's my turn to show you how beautiful  Green Tara products are. 

" Château de Langeais "

This is the beautiful castle of Langeais where Anne de Bretagne married

 Charles VIII, king of France.

I completed the cluster of flowers 

(Wild Rose, Primula, Lace Pearl Flower, Flower Spray & Velvet Leave) 

with dies cut made of canvas I colored with the Twinklings.

After having paint the « chicken wire » with some black gesso, 

I added wax to give a metallic touch to it.

" Les Machines de l'Ile " 

You may have this this layout before. It was my take on the last Sketchabilities sketch.
I take this photo in Nantes of one of the strange Machines de l’Ile I choose to show off.

 I have keep the ticket to the show and I just cut some part of it : the title and the elephant.

 I used the Wild Rose and the Heirloom flower in my cluster as well as some Cherry Blossom. 

To make the arrows, I glued the satin ribbon on a cardstock before I cut it.

March Inspiration with Pascale

Hi everyone, Pascale here today to share with you three new layouts.

"  Mont Saint Michel "
I continue my series of well-known French monuments:  

The Mont Saint Michel, in Normandy.

I chose to work on a natural Kraft paper. After gluing some pieces of a book,
Washi tape and punched papers, I covered everything with watered gesso.
 I applied some gesso with a mask to add some texture. I then colored my
 background with Gelatos and Twinkling H2O watercolors.

I always add some stamps when my whole layout is finished.

I colored the Silk Diamante Flower that were too white for my layout,
 with one of the Twinkling colors I used on the background.

The color of the Apple Blossom was a perfect match with the photo. 

I cut the Floral Spray in several pieces.

" Rusty Door "

I found this photo on the Internet. Unfortunately there was no indication
 where this photo has been taken.

I made my background to match the photo using a lot of Twinkling H2O watercolors. 

I used the same to color Bird Design metal embellishment as well as the handmade butterfly.

The bright colors I used to color the leaves help to show off the beautiful Heirloom flowers. 

I colored also the Flower Spray, originally orange, with a more rusty color.

 I also added some strips of  Skeleton Mesh.
 It helps to add some lightness to the composition.

" Potentilla "

I've taken this photo just after a rain shower.
The color of the Heirloom flower was a perfect match with the Potentilla.

I also added an Apple Blossom in ivory to add some contrast.

I added some Olive Skeleton Mesh that I tore apart to add some lightness.

Beauties of Nature by Pascale B.

" PIVOINE "

Pink isn't really a color I like to use in my layouts, 

but I really did have a choice with this beautiful peony. 

I use the beautiful Apple Blossom, with some pink Cherry Blossoms. 

I cut the floral spray in two or three pieces. 

I've glued hot pink Mesh under some clear pebbles. I love the result!

" CHENONCEAU "

Chenonceau is a beautiful castle near Tours (France). And this photo was taken inside
 the castle where they made new bunches of flowers every day for all the rooms. 

I've used some Wild Rose and small Heirloom, but the hue of the flowers wasn't exactly
 the same as the photo. As the flowers are made of silk, I decided to color them
 with some acrylic glaze paint. 

Look at the result, it is just gorgeous, isn't it ?

I used also the beautiful burgundy Velvet Leaves.

" SACRE CŒUR "

This is the Sacré Coeur Basilica, one of the most attractive monument of Paris. 

I've used the beautiful Wild Rose in pale blue, 

but as previously the hue wasn't exactly the one I needed for this layout. 

This time I've used some pigments mixed with water to color the silk flower.

The result is striking, what do you think ?

I have also added a lot of small roses in different sizes.
