Leaving 2013 and Looking Forward to 2014!

Only one day left of this year and I´m back with three new Green Tara projects.
My dog Molle loves the snow! You can see how he got it all over his nose.
I wanted to create a winter theme page and I love using light blue and white for this.

My title says My Snow Dog.

The Wild Rose in pale blue is really pretty together with the smaller flowers!

I added some extra glitter on some of my flowers to get even more of a winter feeling.

My next project was published in a Swedish/Scandinavian Magazine called Inzpira.
They had a theme for this issue and that was the spice Chilli. I created a red page
filled with passion. The title says Love strong as Chilli.

I played with lots of layers, both mediums and decorations.
Lots of nice flowers from Green Tara here!

My hubbie & I got married in 1996. I actually had a pink theme for my wedding but
I changed the photo in to black and white so that I could play with these colors instead.

Here I changed my photo from red and white to a sepia one instead. I love the
flowers and ribbons in creme and brown together.

When I place a bow over my flowers I create even more depth in my page.

I used different ribbons to create my banner underneath  my photo.

A Shabby December with Jelissa

Hi everyone, so glad to be back to share some more of my creations with you
for the last year of the month! We are less than a week from Christmas!

I'm going shabby this month, starting with a layout of one
 of my wedding day photos.

"HAPPINESS"

I've layered the laces amongst my paper elements and lightly misted them pink.

I've altered the Heirloom flower to look like the bridal bouquet in the
photo by misting just only the centre of the flower.

The second layout I'm sharing is a photo from my second maternity shoot.

"MEMORIES"

Here, I've used the ribbons for both layering in the background
as well as for matting my photo.

The jute ribbon adds just the perfect rustic feel to the lalang field
we took this photo in. I lightly brushed gesso on the Green Tara
blooms for a rugged look, and also sprinkled some mists on the
Primula to look like my dress.

I pulled out some strings from the jute ribbon and used them here
as an accent to highlight my floral cluster.

My last share is an altered clothes hanger which I think is at least 20 years old!
It's a piece of treasure which I found in my dad's quaint little dry-cleaning shop.

"ALTERED CLOTHES HANGER"

The Green Tara flowers add such a soft touch to this little antique piece.

A neat little trick I picked up from Di, our DT co-ordinator, which is to
twirl the cord of each mini-rose to create a realistic effect.

I hope you like what I've shared with you.
Until I see you in the new year, happy holidays
and have lots of crafty fun!
