What a mix .... Natalie May

Hello hello from chilly Adelaide
On this super crisp morning, I want to share a few projects with you.
First of all is
 "Perfect"

I adore this photo of Jessica
(even have it as a canvas on our wall at home)
The color in the photo suited these flowers really well
and it all came together beautifully.

and misted them using Luminarte Pigment Powders and then
stamped over the flower in Archival Black ink with a script stamp
to add something a little different.
The Satin Rosette was trimmed down a little to suit as was the
Tutu Flower - just trimmed a little off the edges with my scissors.
Finally I added in my fave little 1cm Roses in the
clusters to add a little lift.

This next page is a little arty as well but I wanted to use lots
of lace & ribbon to keep it feeling soft.

"You are My Everything"
I had to make a couple of slight colour alterations with this
page which was super easy.

I used some Heidi Swapp Colour Shine in Amethyst -
as I used in the layout to change the colour of the lace
and also the roses - perfect match!

The ribbons and laces were great for this page and I used tape
and the sewing machine to adhere them to the layout.
I also used some Apple Blossoms, 1cm & 1.5cm Roses and the
gorgeous vine which I also coloured to match.

For my next page, I was completely influenced by the paper and went
through my flower stash pulling out everything that matched!
I was blown away by how many amazing BRIGHT colours
Green Tara really have and then narrowed it down to just a couple
of highlight flowers that made the paper POP!
The Heirloom Flowers in Yellow in the 6.5cm and 4cm size
look great along with some Hot Pink 2cm roses.

And finally is a set of three cards I taught here in Adelaide at
 Seriously Scrapbooking last weekend.
These cards are all part of my monthly Big Shot Class and the
Green Tara Roses get used in just about every class I teach!

With this last card, I used the White Azalea but didn't feel the yellow Stamen
suited so I removed it, soaked it in Distress Ink, dried it off and popped
 it back in! Perfect Match!

Well, thats enough from me for today!
Thanks for stopping by!
