Three rainbow projects by Marie-Josée

Hello, Green Tara fans!

Today, I am featuring three rainbow projects. If you visit my blog, you know that I love the rainbow colors and use them quite often on my layouts.

Rainbow village canvas
Here my first project, a mixed media canvas.

I create this mixed media canvas with my newest stamps as well as some Green Tara flowers and leaves and a new Green Tara product called Pineapple paper.

This the paper I used for the grass. Here a picture I took while I was working om my project. As you can see, I tore the paper, and I also brushed a bit of green paint around my paper:

When I don't have flowers in colors matching my projects, I paint them. In this case, I used the same watercolors (Twinkling H20's by Luminarte) that I used to color my house, to color some flowers.

Here, the big purple one as well as the cobalt and teal flowers were colored with watercolors.

And here, the red one was colored with watercolors.

Rainbow layout

I created the background of this layout from scratch, using a ruler and a fine-point black pen. Then, I painted each square with Silks paints, and added flowers here and there.

I made sure the colors of the flowers matched the colors of the squares on which I put them:

As I explained, when I don't have flowers in the right colors, I paint them. Here, since I did not have any dark blue or teal flowers in the right size, I painted them using the colors I used for my background:

Rainbow card

And here's my last project for today, a rainbow card. Instead of using just strips of paper to create my background, I also used Green Tara ribbons.

Until next time,
