January Inspiration
Three Layouts to Share
By Di Garling

"Cherish the Moments"

Hi there, Di Garling back with you again today with three layouts to share.
I must say I am drawn to bright colours, they make me feel happy & it
doesn't get much brighter than this.

Here you can see I have used a lime "Sakura" flower, a yellow "Heirloom" flower,
an orange "Lace Pearl" flower which I sprayed with some mist to get just the right
shade, it actually started its life as ivory but coloured up really well.
I have also sprayed a white "Flower Spray" in orange as well.

I have also used three different Green Tara "Washi Tapes"
underneath my photos. Green Tara has a huge range of Washi
to choose from.

Another yellow "Heirloom" flower teamed with a couple of
Green Tara "Roses" which were ivory & again I misted them lime & orange.

Here I have tied a knot using their lime "Mesh Trim"
& simply tucked it in amongst the flowers.

All of my chipboard on this layout are from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

"Sweet"

I did this layout last year but was never completely happy with it, sooooo
I decided to pull it apart and make it over again.
I have added lots of different Green Tara "Lace" in between the paper layers.
I then sprayed them all turquoise to match my background.

I have tied a bow using some of the new
"Double Sided Vertical Satin Stripe Ribbon".

Pink, white  & blue "Heirloom" flowers teamed with some
turquoise "Mini Rosebuds".

Some more of our favourite Green Tara "Roses" in pink & turquoise.

"Merry & Bright"

You may have seen this layout already. I had created it in December as part of
my design team work for 2 Crafty chipboard.
I did lots of background treatments in cream & gold & then proceeded to
add some Green Tara blooms to compliment the gold.

The main flower here is a silk & organza "Wild Rose"
teamed with a couple of  ivory "Heirloom" flowers.

This is such a statement flower, don't you agree ?

Another ivory "Heirloom" flower & I have painted a couple of
3cm ivory "Roses" in gold.  I thought they turned out pretty good.
See, you can create any colour flower you need.

Well that wraps up another month for me, I will see you back
here again next month.
