First Grandbaby Card & Layouts
By Patti Hamill

I have three projects to share with you, first a Birth Announcement card
and then two layouts. Each one has tons of beautiful Green Tara goodies
on them! These feature one of my favorite color combos, pink and yellow
with some others mixed in as well. Hope you like them.

"She's Here"

I am so happy to share this post with everyone today!!! We became the
proud Grandparents of a sweet baby girl June 12th!!! And she is
precious! I made a super sweet and simple announcement card using
some pastel colored blooms and trims!

Here you can see the blooms that I used, the pretty yellow Primula,
white Apple Blossom and tiny pink cherry blossom together.
I added the Mint/Ivory Bud n Bow trim with some dainty
20m white lace across the bottom.

I made a pocket/frame for the photo and put a tag with the stats inside,
I added a little bit of the pink/grey raffia as the trim.

"Adore/Cherish Forever"

I also have two layouts to share with you. These are photos taken
before the baby was born! This first one was a black and white,
so I chose colors that would accentuate the pic. I used lighter hues
to match the colors in the paper that I used. It's a subtle look
that suits the photo.

Here you see some of the embellishments that I used, the little
cherry blossom was the perfect accent to the cluster of blooms,
I cut out some hearts from the paper also & added some
liquid pearls to finish it off.

Here you see the gorgeous Laurel silk and organza bloom,
the soft yellow was perfect. You also see the Tutu blooms
and more little cherry blossoms.

I added a pretty black flower spray and 10mm lace ribbon on the edge
of the photo. I also added a bow made from the
 natural Jute ribbon in ivory.

Just a close up of a few more details where I added their name and date,
with more little liquid pearl accents.

I added a pretty little yellow Primula bloom and another cherry blossom!
The little cherry blossoms are just the perfect size to tuck in anywhere
 you need a little filler!!!

"Cherish"

This is another photo taken before the baby.
This one was bright and colorful,
so I chose papers and embellishments to match.
Lots of pretty pink and green on this one!

I just love the pink and yellow blooms together!!! The pink azalea
is gorgeous with the little yellow bloom and tiny black roses tucked in!
I also took some white Petals from the Petal pack and spritzed them
with some pink spray, cut in half, and tucked them behind.

Here you see the pretty pink Bud n Bow trim layered on the black
lace ribbon. The chippie frame is from Imaginarium Designs.

Here is a close-up of one of the clusters and you see another
 Petal bloom tucked underneath.

What a mix .... Natalie May

Hello hello from chilly Adelaide
On this super crisp morning, I want to share a few projects with you.
First of all is
 "Perfect"

I adore this photo of Jessica
(even have it as a canvas on our wall at home)
The color in the photo suited these flowers really well
and it all came together beautifully.

and misted them using Luminarte Pigment Powders and then
stamped over the flower in Archival Black ink with a script stamp
to add something a little different.
The Satin Rosette was trimmed down a little to suit as was the
Tutu Flower - just trimmed a little off the edges with my scissors.
Finally I added in my fave little 1cm Roses in the
clusters to add a little lift.

This next page is a little arty as well but I wanted to use lots
of lace & ribbon to keep it feeling soft.

"You are My Everything"
I had to make a couple of slight colour alterations with this
page which was super easy.

I used some Heidi Swapp Colour Shine in Amethyst -
as I used in the layout to change the colour of the lace
and also the roses - perfect match!

The ribbons and laces were great for this page and I used tape
and the sewing machine to adhere them to the layout.
I also used some Apple Blossoms, 1cm & 1.5cm Roses and the
gorgeous vine which I also coloured to match.

For my next page, I was completely influenced by the paper and went
through my flower stash pulling out everything that matched!
I was blown away by how many amazing BRIGHT colours
Green Tara really have and then narrowed it down to just a couple
of highlight flowers that made the paper POP!
The Heirloom Flowers in Yellow in the 6.5cm and 4cm size
look great along with some Hot Pink 2cm roses.

And finally is a set of three cards I taught here in Adelaide at
 Seriously Scrapbooking last weekend.
These cards are all part of my monthly Big Shot Class and the
Green Tara Roses get used in just about every class I teach!

With this last card, I used the White Azalea but didn't feel the yellow Stamen
suited so I removed it, soaked it in Distress Ink, dried it off and popped
 it back in! Perfect Match!

Well, thats enough from me for today!
Thanks for stopping by!

More Green Tara Goodness
By Di Garling

"Our Sweet Girl"

Hello Green Tara fans & welcome to the blog today.

I have three layouts to share with you, starting off with this
little sweetie. I have been dying to scrap these pics which were
given to me by a friend.

I have used lots of gorgeous Green Tara flowers starting off with
a couple of these sweet little "Hibiscus" flowers in shades of lavender.
I have given them a brush over with some pink & purple "Silks" paints
followed up with a little dab or two of "Irredescent Medium" to
add a little shimmer.

I have also tucked some
 "Silver Acrylic Flower Stems"
in at the side of my cluster.

Next up I have used some black & white
"Silk Flowers with Swarovski Crystal Centres".
These are so beautiful & add a touch of opulence
to any flower cluster.

 I then added a a couple of
purple "Roses" which also received a brush of
"Irredescent Medium" for some added  shimmer.

I then finished off with a
"Rain Forest Velvet & Organza Butterfly"
in pink.

All of my chipboard including my
 Title, Hexagons & Tiny Filmstrip

 For my second layout...

                                 "Lifes Good"

On this layout I have used some of the great NEW
"Burlap Trim".
I have tied a bow with it & frayed all the edges & popped it in
my layers underneath the flower. I have also added another piece
underneath my photo.

In this pic you can see on top of the Burlap bow I have used yet
another NEW Green Tara flower. This one is an "Azelea"
& comes in several colours.

I have also tucked in a few "Maple Leaves" in gold.
These leaves are great because they are wired & so you can
bend them any way you like & they stay put.

A small "Rose" in light brown.

I have added a "Hibiscus" flower in batik henna.
I thought it completed this autumn colour palette perfectly.

Again all of my chipboard is from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

My last layout for this month...
"YOU"

You may have seen this layout on my blog a few months ago,
it was some design team work for 2 Crafty chipboard & I
thought I would show it to you today as it has lots of
beautiful Green Tara goodies on it.

Fabric flowers including "Primula" "Sakura"  in
ivory.  A 4cm "Heirloom" flower in dusty pink, a 2cm ivory
"Rose" & a pink "Flower Spray" which I have twisted &
curled to add a touch of realism. I then finished off my cluster
with a bow tied with my favourite Green Tara
natural "Jute Ribbon".

Well that just about wraps it up for another month,
I will see you back here in July.
