TIPS & TRICKS
Chipboard Doily Instructions
Choose a chipboard doily or shape paint the outside edge cover the inside with pva glue and attach your ribbon of choice. I have used both the 22mm & 9mm vertical stripe ribbon. This helps to create the perfect matching embellishment.
Green Tara Petals with a twist
Take your choice of petals I have used 10cm for the outside and 7cm for the inside and fold them in half then in quarters, gluing them in position as you go. Pinch or crumple the petals to give them more texture and pop the smaller petals inside the larger petal gluing then in place. Finish of by joining the flowers together and popping a folded 4cm flower to create a centre along with a cherry blossom.
HEADBAND
Before I list products I just wanted to thank my model, a Barbie doll makeup head became my backup after my first model quit when I wouldn't let her eat the end result - well she is only 10mths old so I guess I will have to forgive.

Headband Tutorial
First I attached the satin frill ribbon to the headband using a hot glue gun, Then choosing my flowers and embellishments I went about gluing them into place. The leaves have been bent to make them look real. I cut the small bead parts of the silver spray and just used these. The butterfly on a wire ribbon was cut to make individual butterfly ribbons, I left a small amount of wire on each end so the ribbon did not fall off and folded each wire end over to also help keep the ribbon on the wire. The flower sprays have been inked to create a 2 tone flower and just a single flower was used here and there. Everything was the covered in glitter, what little girl wouldn't  love glitter?  The headband is elegant enough to use for a flower girl etc and pretty enough for a child to wear.
