A Shabby December with Jelissa

Hi everyone, so glad to be back to share some more of my creations with you
for the last year of the month! We are less than a week from Christmas!

I'm going shabby this month, starting with a layout of one
 of my wedding day photos.

"HAPPINESS"

I've layered the laces amongst my paper elements and lightly misted them pink.

I've altered the Heirloom flower to look like the bridal bouquet in the
photo by misting just only the centre of the flower.

The second layout I'm sharing is a photo from my second maternity shoot.

"MEMORIES"

Here, I've used the ribbons for both layering in the background
as well as for matting my photo.

The jute ribbon adds just the perfect rustic feel to the lalang field
we took this photo in. I lightly brushed gesso on the Green Tara
blooms for a rugged look, and also sprinkled some mists on the
Primula to look like my dress.

I pulled out some strings from the jute ribbon and used them here
as an accent to highlight my floral cluster.

My last share is an altered clothes hanger which I think is at least 20 years old!
It's a piece of treasure which I found in my dad's quaint little dry-cleaning shop.

"ALTERED CLOTHES HANGER"

The Green Tara flowers add such a soft touch to this little antique piece.

A neat little trick I picked up from Di, our DT co-ordinator, which is to
twirl the cord of each mini-rose to create a realistic effect.

I hope you like what I've shared with you.
Until I see you in the new year, happy holidays
and have lots of crafty fun!
