A Dream Come True

Hi everyone... today I have some more Green Tara delisciousness
 to share with you!
First up I have this layout of my friend Nancy and myself living
a dream..... a trip to New York!  Seeing the Statue of Liberty
made it all so real for me!

I have used beautiful Heirloom Flowers in both sizes here,
some Roses {coloured with Smooch Spritz to match}, Maple Leaves,
Tulle, lovely Lace and some of the stunning
 new Silver Diamante Trim.

I coloured the chipboard with the same colour I sprayed the flowers,
 blending all the tones together.

The Peach Heirloom flower is the perfect colour to match these papers,
I love that about Green Tara, they have a colour and style that's bound
to match whatever papers you have!

The new Silver Diamante trim is fabulous!  It's so easy to use,
this one can be trimmed to singles to pop into your embellishment clusters.
 They really sparkle!!

A Promise Wall Hanging

Lately I am loving creating these little wall hangings!  They are such fun,
just getting to make mess, adding beautiful lace, trims, flowers, chippy...
letting it create itself, the process for me is absolute pleasure!

This one was inspired from a saying on a little notebook my friend
Nancy gave me, it was such a perfect verse.

I used an old vintage doily that my grandmother made as the base,
then covered it and the canvas in Golden Fiber Paste.  Then while wet
it was sprayed with Smooch Spritz and some LSG Starburst Stains...
I love letting it sit overnight and seeing how the colours settled .

Then I created a huge bouquet of lavender, pink and white flowers,
all from Green Tara... the tones and shapes all blend together so beautifully.

Green Tara butterflies were added to flutter all over the hanging...

Bows and Bling...the coloured Jute Ribbon always ties a perfect bow
and the Silk Flowers with Swarovski Crystals add such an elegant touch.

...and gorgeous Dusty Attic chipboard completes it perfectly.

The chipboard was painted white, spritzed with mixed berries smooch spritz
and then finished off with some Fairy Dust glitter.
{because all good wall hangings need to have some sparkle!}

In A New York Minute

And finally I have this layout I was playing with last week...
and as the flowers and ribbons are Green Tara {naturally}
I can share it with you here today too!!

I had the best fun playing with these "Clippings" papers from Basic Grey.
Usually I'm not into disorganised patterns but with the paper layers and
fabulous colours this range grabbed my attention!    I felt they were
perfect for this photo of me, sitting in Times Square eating my first
New York Hot Dog, subtle flowery patterns weren't going to cut it!

I did manage to get in some flowers though, as always Green Tara
to the rescue with  Roses and Cherry Blossoms.

I've also popped in some flat Green Tara petals behind papers
and under the little flower clusters.

The sweet Stitched Grosgrain helped to tie in the soft flowers
 with the cluttered background papers.

Delicate Dusty Attic Flutterbies add that little element of 'me' to the layout.
 {Because I LOVE butterflies}.

The title needed a spash of colour, so I chose to use muted tones
of the splash of red in the photo using a mix of Holly Berries,
Tea Party and  Candle Glow Smooch Spritz.

The Cherry Blossoms were originally white, but I have created a
matt mist by watering down some aqua toned paint and
spraying the flower.  The flowers hold together well and dry
nice and quickly with a heat gun.
