Family Fun with Shona Keehn

Hi everyone and welcome to Green Tara. Shona here  today.

 I have 3 layouts to share using lots Green Tara goodies. My first layout is
 called “Delicate” and this is my little niece.  She is so tiny and delicate.
 I have also used a sketch from Scrapfriends for this layout. 

Just look at this beautiful main flower cluster.

 I am loving all of the new Green Tara flowers, so delicious! 

The center piece flower is a Damask fabric and Organza flower.

 I have tucked in a few other Green Tara flowers also.

 The twine bow is also a Green Tara product, it is the Paper String. 

You can shape this paper string so easily, I just twirl the ends

 around a pencil to shape them. 

See those wire hearts…..yes those are Green Tara too,

 and they are fabulous! I have covered these ones with gesso. 

One last close up of the fun chippy title and the background work. 

My next layout is titled “I Could Just Gobble You Up”.

The chippie title is from 2 Crafty chipboard.

 This is my new cutie pie  grand son. I have used lots of

 Green Tara blooms and trims on this one and I have once again 

used a sketch from Scrapfriends. 

I have used some Green Tara Ivory Cobweb trim behind the photo. 
This trim is just so much fun and has so much texture to it.
 I also have used  some delicate Apple blossom and Cherry blossom 
flowers in this small cluster. 

The large cluster is loaded with lots of New Green Tara goodies.

 The center flower is one of the new Pincushion flowers and I have

 also tucked in the new black-grey Primula and a Yellow Satin Rosette.

 The trims you can see here are the Natural Jute Ribbon and the

 cute little bow is Loop and Tassel trim. 

 One more layout to share that I made this month 

using all delicious Green Tara flowers and trims.

 The lace is so elegant and delicate for this special photo of

 my daughter and new grandson.

PERFECTLY PINK WITH A KISS OF FUSCHIA

Hello everyone ,

 Heather with you today, hoping you all had a wonderful Xmas

Pinks/ purples with black and white are my theme for this post  

‘TASTE’

Pinks and purples/fushia are such rich and luscious velvety colors, which in my opinion look majestic against a white background… here I used a Crafters workshop mask to add some extra color

a little stamping, and an added touch of green in the patterned paper and cotton as a complimentary color . A simple layout with a dramatic effect using deep fushia/purple.

Adding a touch of green embroidery wool creates extra interest ,
and compliments the rich purple .

Pink and Black are wonderful complimentary colors and the new dusty pink SOFT FABRIC FLOWERS are so dreamy, and marry perfectly with the BLACK HEIRLOOM SILK AND ORGANZA flower. 

I also added the tiny flowers in Taupe and black as a beautiful addition to these two new flowers .

“Have yourself a merry little Christmas frame”

Well it’s Christmas Eve here in Australia.. & I thought I’d get into the spirit of things & create all things Christmas......
Now! I LOVE creating layouts... Layouts are my thing OH! a Card here & there too.. BUT! the other Green Tara Designers are creating such AMAZING OTP projects that it has got me to spread my wings so to speak & try OTP Project SO!

First up is the photo frame...  I have dabbed lots of gesso around the frame! Then stamped, inked, sprayed,added  some micro beads to give  a mixed media feel to it!! Finishing it off by adding lots of GORGEOUS Green Tara goodness....

The wire stars are one of my FAVES from Green Tara Products... BUT! then again I have lots of  Green Tara FAVES...   LOL! these beauties come a few colours....

I’ve left these  plain! Don’t they look FANTASTIC.....

& the EVER so lovely NEW  Xmas Vines , along with the Mini roses,
 Fushia Calla lillie & the fushia  stars on Wire....
 

My cluster of flowers consist of 1.5cm lime green mini roses, 3cm Pink Cherry blossom, 8cm Damask in Aqua, 4cm White Apple Blossom, 5cm Sakura in Purple & a 5cm Satin Rosette in the palest lavender which I have sprayed fushia pink...Also with some self adhesive gold trim....

& I’ve framed some of the inside with a Green Tara Lace!

A Christmas Bauble and 2 Layouts By Kim Price

My goodness, Christmas is now only a few days away - where did the year go? I have to admit I am probably at my most disorganised this year but I did manage to get some creative time in with the season in mind. 

My first project to share this month is a very festive Christmas Tree bauble, Green Tara style! This truly is one of those WOW items - it has amazing impact with all those gorgeous White Green Tara flowers and it was so very simple and fast to create. All you need are a bundle of Green Tara flowers and trim, a styrofoam ball and some strong adhesive! It really is that easy.

This layout was created using a photograph of my daughter as the "mirror" on this chipboard dresser along with a variety of Green Tara flowers, leaves and lace. I wanted to create something a little different to the usual scrapbooking page and I think it works well to showcase the beauty of the Green Tara products perfectly. I really like the overall triangular design. 

This photo showcases these really pretty pale blue hydrangeas - and I have added small turquoise coloured roses to the centres for that finishing touch. I have also included a spray of little white flowers and some smoke coloured crystals, not forgetting that gorgeous little silver heart to the left.

Some calla lilies and a white cherry blossom along with a white sakura bloom and a cluster of rosebuds.

Beneath both of the flower clusters I have used some gorgeous white Green Tara lace for a little extra texture and interest.

And lastly I have a layout created in a more classic style, using Green Tara lace as part of my background adding gorgeous vintage style texture. I created this layout using a photograph of my wedding dress along with my great great grandmother's cameo brooch (it was accidentally dropped in the street and run over by a horse drawn cart and still has the original crack in it!) which has been handed down to me and I wore it on my wedding day, my grandmothers wedding and engagement rings and my mother's wedding and engagement rings.

I've used some new Green Tara flowers including a Christmas Vine, a 6.5cm Heirloom
 Silk and Organza flower and a Wild Rose.

It's my turn again to show off some fantastic products from Green Tara.
Today I have a layout & two cards to share with you.
 

"Bundle Of Joy"



A couple of first for me, this is my very first grandbaby and my first

 boy page in what seams like forever.

Beautiful Damask flower in aqua teamed up with a white gardenia,

 peach apple blossoms and some little roses. The gardenia has

 been inked with a bright orange ink. White paper leaves and a

 cut up silver spray have also been added.

Another small cluster of flowers, silver spray and white leaves,

 this time a apple blossom is the main flower.

I love this ribbon so easy to use in so many ways.

I have created the background using strips of cobweb and

 mesh ribbon. Using some wire cord I created the string for the 2 kites.

"Smile Card"

I'm not really a card person but I had an urge.

 Stitched Grosgrain in pink & green was used to create a 

criss cross  background then covered in Modge Podge.

A cluster of beautiful new blooms from Green Tara including Pink

 Heirloom & Green Primula, with a cherry blossom, each flower

 has had the tips painted with white paint, the flowers make the top

 of a little painted chipboard tree.

Ivory Apple blossom & Stripe ribbon both have had a little paint 

added. Organza spatter ribbon was cut in half length ways and then

 small cuts made in the side without the wire to create grass

 under the little bear.

Texture paste and a tree mask used to extend the top of the

 tree across the card.

1.5cm roses were used on the extra branches the smaller rose had the 

irst 2 outer layers removed to make it appear smaller than the other.
