Hello there friends, thanks for calling by.

Today is a my last post here on the Green Tara Design Team.

I have been on this wonderful design team as well as being

the Design Team Co Ordinator for the past three years & I have to
 say I have thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone, but the time

has come for me to step down.

 After three years with this amazing team, I feel the need to
broaden my horizons & perhaps step out of my comfort zone.

Thanks to Alison & Mark for having me, it has been a 

wonderful journey we have all shared.

So today I want to leave you with my top twelve favourite

layouts (in no particular order)  I have created here on the
Green Tara blog using lots of beautiful

Green Tara goodies. Some of these are old, some are new, 

but for one reason or another these are my favourite

3 looks same products by Susan Longman

It’s Susan Longman here again today to share with 3 layouts I created using the products I had left on my desk. My challenge today was to create 3 looks using essentially the same items on each page ( a few variations obviously thrown in).

I hit the big 4 0 this January gone and wanted to create a page about how I am mentally at this age. I found this great quote that pretty much sums up me at the moment so used it as the basis of my layout.

I love to use flowers and have created one of the layered clusters that invariably finds its way onto one of my layouts.

“crazy” layout by Susan Longman

I have to say I am a huge fan of out-take photos… as I believe they capture the true personality of a subject. In this layout I have used a photo that shows my daughters “crazy” eyes and her cheeky fun side.

Again on this layout I have clustered the same gorgeous Green Tara flowers popping out of the handmade envelope and then added some chipboard and flair buttons for interest.

Hello, hello Green Tara Fans!

You are with Sandrine today and I have 3 layouts to share with you!

I will start with a photo of my grandmother and us back in France last year. I cherish that photo!

"Great Grandmother"

I used lots of different flowers!

I cut some "Apple Blossoms" and "30mm flower white lace" with a "1cm rose":

I also used "Ivory Wild Roses" and "Sage Tutu Flowers":

I created texture by mixing flowers and ribbon: "Silk & Organza Wild Roses", Paper "Apple Blossoms", Paper "1cm Roses", "Lace Ribbon" and "Skeleton Mesh":

"She is My Happiness"

 

I used gorgeous "Satin Leaf Garland" in Silver Grey and "White Gardenias":

"Lace Pearl 3.5cm Flower", "Gardenia" and "6.5cm Heirloom Flowers", I actually cut my "Heirloom Flower" in two and tucked behind a whole one to create more texture - do not get scared to alter you flowers - cut them, spray them - have fun!

A closie of my "Metal Embellishment 2.5cm Bird Design" that I coated in Gesso to blend in with my design:

Had to use my all time favourite "Velvet Rose":

"It's A Girl Thing"

  

I kept the design simple adding different flowers for extra texture, here I used "Damask Flower", "Apple Blossom" and "4cm Heirloom in pink":




 I altered some of my flowers with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starbust spray, I turned my "White Apple Blossom" into grey, and decided on pastel pink "Heirloom 4cm Flowers" and "Heirloom 6.5cm flower" for my colour combo with a splash of turquoise:
