New Baby Layout & More!!!
By Patti Hamill

Hi, it's Patti here today, and I have two layouts and a card to share
with you today. I am always just so amazed at the beauty of the
Green Tara blooms, it's always hard to choose which ones to use,
I want to use them all! LOL! Anyway, these layouts and card were
so much fun to create! And one is of course a baby page with an
adorable pic of our brand new Granddaughter!!!

I wanted to focus on the soft colors in the photo, so I chose the
papers and blooms to match, all soft hues and shades!
The blue Damask bloom was perfect for the largest bloom!
I chose soft blues and yellow/cream. The lace trim was so
sweet and delicate I added it also.

I just added a little yellow rose as a finishing accent on this part.

Here you see a small cluster with apple blossom,
small rose and also some stamped leaves.

One more close-up of the little cluster.

A close-up of the beautiful Damask blue bloom,
And little cream Tutu flower  tucked in beside it.

My next project is a layout, with a photo of our daughter when she
modelled for "PinxUps For Soldiers". I used reds and browns/golds
for this one. Love the black burlap trim with this!

Here is a close-up of one of the clusters, you see all the little blooms
peeking out from behind the Damask mustard bloom!
These colors worked so well together!

I added a little clock embellishment and used the small natural jute for a bow!

Here you see where I tucked a small piece of lace behind a section
of the paper. I added liquid pearls too.

Here you can see the Bud-n-Bow trim layered on top of the
black burlap trim. You can also see the little red flower spray too!

One more close-up of the cluster.

One more where you see the clock and the burlap trim a little better.

My last project today is a card. I used some gold metallic paper,
so please excuse the glare on the photo, but in real life, the
embossing shows beautifully and the blooms just pop on the card!!!

This is a window card, I used liquid pearl accents around the oval cut-out.
I only used two blooms, but the look is striking!

Here are a couple of close-ups, you can see the beautiful blooms
and lace on this. I used the gold mesh ribbon for the beautiful bow.

This card really does look elegant in real life!!! The paper in the
background is just and old scrap!!! You can use up
your stash making cards!!!

I hope you have enjoyed my projects today, please don't forget to
check back to see what else the talented design team has in store for you!!!!

Patti Hammil

Thanks,
Patti

A Mixed Media Layout by Marie-Josée Hamel

Hi folks!

I am back again today, a few days after my last post, to show you
a new mixed media layout, based on this month's color combination
 featured on the ScrapFriends blog.

I created two clusters of flowers, one on the left and one on the right.
Here's the one on the right. As you can see, I put thread under the
flowers to add a bit of interest to the cluster.

On the left side, I combined two bigger flowers, the Azalea flower
in pink as well as the Tutu flower in turquoise. As usual,
I also added tiny roses to my cluster.

And here's a closeup view of my tiny word stickers as well a my
background, created with modelling paste, acrylic paint,
 mists, ink and Silks paints.

A Scrapbooking Duet
By Di Garling & Jeanette Fulwood
"A Moment to Treasure"

Hello everyone & welcome to the blog today.
I know I was only here yesterday, but one of our designers is off
sick so to fill in for her I have decided to do something a
little different !!!  I have teamed up with one of my students
to bring you this layout.
So please allow me to introduce "Jeanette Fulwood".
Jeanette is most definitely one of my "STAR" students, as this
layout shows. I designed & directed, Jeanette constructed,
& between the two of us this layout came about.
Hope you like it.

We have used lots of beautiful Green Tara flowers, including,
this yellow "Primula", lime "Sakura", navy "Satin Rosette".
To complete our cluster we have tucked in some
green "Velvet Leaves".  These are one of my favourites.

Here we teamed a yellow "Heirloom" flower with both
yellow & lime "Roses", more green "Velvet Leaves"
& to complete this cluster we added a small bow tied
with some of the NEW Green Tara natural "Raffia" trim.

Here you can see where we have tucked in some
 Green Tara "Lace".
This is one of the many that they carry.

To finish off with we have scattered a few "Mini Daisy Flowers"
in both lime & yellow around the page.
All of the chipboard used here is from

Well that does it from both Jeanette & myself today.
I hope we have inspired you to get hold of some
Green Tara goodies to use on your next layout.

It would be really nice if you could leave Jeanette
some "BLOG LOVE" while you are here too.

Cheers
Di & Jeanette

From Bold & Bright to Soft Soft Pastels
Three Layouts to Share
By Di Garling

 "You"

Hello Green Tara fans. Thanks for calling by the blog.
Today I have three layouts to share with you & as always
I have used lots of gorgeous Green Tara products.

First up I would like to start off with this wildly BRIGHT
rainbow layout called "You". I was inspired to do this layout
by an old friend, Lisa Oxley. I have seen lots of people do
their own version of this type of "rainbow" layout over the years but
when I saw Lisa's version I was so inspired to give it a try.
Thanks for the inspiration Lisa & here is my version.

Obviously I have gone crazy with various sprays on both
my background as well as on lots of different
Green Tara flowers.

Before I talk about all these gorgeous flowers I would like to draw
your attention to this fabulous black  "Tuille" trim that is a new
addition to the Green Tara range. Here I have torn a few pieces &
then simply tied it in a knot to create this fabulous accessory
to my flowers.

I have also used some of the NEW Green Tara Washi Tape.
They have so many fabulous designs in stock.
Make sure you head over to their website & check them all out.

Now for my flowers,
from left to right I have started with a black "Primula" flower
followed by an "Azelea" & a "Rose" both I which were white & I
sprayed to make them orange. Next up we have the gorgeous
yellow "Primula" & yellow "Rose", both of which came in this
already great shade of yellow, so no need to spray these two.

Next up I have used a black "Silk & Swarovski Crystal flower"
& followed on with another couple of "Roses" which were white
& I again sprayed them to achieve this great shade of hot pink.

These were then followed by some great green "Velvet leaves"
which I have tucked in under the edge of a green "Sakura"
bloom with a couple of lime "Roses".

In this photo you can see the black satin "Lollipop" flower
which was already black before finishing off my rainbow
of colour by again misting another white "Azelea" flower
turning it into this lovely shade of turquoise to match a
Green Tara turquoise  "Rose".

I have also misted a few tiny "Mini Daisy Flowers" to add to the
whole rainbow theme before finishing off with some great
2 Crafty chipboard pieces which I have simply painted black
to create a nice balance with all the brights.

********************

"Happiness"

You may have seen this layout on my blog before, I did it
several months ago, & I thought I would show it to you today
as it is also very bright & bold & also features some gorgeous
Green Tara flowers.

In this pic you can see I have used this gorgeous purple "Heirloom"
flower & I have clustered it with both  purple & aqua "Roses".

Here I have used a purple "Primula" & a purple satin "Lollipop"
flowers & finished off with a tiny aqua "Rose" & a couple
of Green Tara "Skeleton Leaves..
I have also used a couple of different "Washi Tapes" & again
teamed it all with some great chipboard pieces from

********************

"Unforgettable"

For my last layout I have decided to do soft pastels.
Love these lovely soft colours. As I said before,
Green Tara have soooo many colours in their range, from
bold & bright to the most beautiful pastels too.

In this photo I have used a cerise pink  "Tutu" flower with a pearl centre,
& teamed it with  pink & pale blue "Heirloom" flowers & also
some pink & blue "Roses" & "Rosebuds".

Again, all of my chipboard is from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

Here you can see I have also used some of the many  Green Tara
"Laces" as well as some of their pink "Bud N Bow" trim  as
well as some of their blue "Mini Tassel Trim".

More "Heirloom" flowers & "Roses".

Well that wraps it up from me for another month.
I hope I have inspired you to play with some great
Green Tara products on your next layout too.

Remember to visit us on
FACEBOOK
it is updated with something new daily.

Until next month.

Fur Babies and Me...
3 Layouts
By Mistra Hoolahan

Hi everyone!  Today I have a couple of layouts to
share of our beloved fur babies.

This first one is my cheeky kitty cat Sugar helping me scrap.
She's become very affectionate these last few months {for her}
and now follows me into my scrap room.  Unfortunately she
likes to help by pulling out paint brushes, rearranging my
supplies and running off with my ribbon!  Although it's not
really all so bad because it's somewhat cute... for now!

I always manage to find just the right colours available in the
Green Tara flowers and for this one I drew from the apricot and
grey tones, with the sweet red accents.

I have used some Roses and Cherry Blossoms, Petals,
Burlap Ribbon, Polka Dot Organza and a cute Tutu Flower.

The Burlap Ribbon added a rustic edge to the pretty florals of the
patterned paper, I love the contrast.  The Burlap Ribbon is such a
versatile addition to Green Tara's ribbon range, I love snipping it up
and using it to tuck in here and there as an earthy accent.

Here's another pic of Sugar 'helping' me... she's making sure the
layout above was flat, just in case, little baggage!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This one is our crazy pooch Coco.  She's such fun and has such
personality... she's soft and gentle with me, loud and rukus'y
with Darren and teases Kel like a sibling would.  She
definitely knows each of our characters and our roles
within the family!

As always, Green Tara products add the extra little touches that
make a layout.  Here I have used some small Roses tucked in under
a fold of paper.  The cream and red works beautifully with the
earthy tones of the papers.

I've also tucked in a sweet Satin Rosette for a touch of elegance,
then added a snippet of red Burlap Ribbon for an added splash of colour.

I tied a big bow using Coloured Jute Ribbon.  All the
Green Tara Ribbons tie beautifully, and this one is no exception...
it always creates a perfectly shaped bow.

As a final touch I have used some 10mm Lace Ribbon over the
top of my paper ruffle.  It's a perfect accompaniment for the
vintage doilies I have used.

I'd also love to share a layout I've created for Australian Scrapbook Ideas
which features lots of delicious Green Tara goodies!  I'm yet to  share this
on my blog, but the magazine is out now with all
the instructions on how to create it.

Click on image for a larger view.
I had used Satin Rosette Flower, Wild Rose, Primula, Velvet Leaves,
Petals and gorgeous Lace.
