3 Layouts... by Mistra Hoolahan
True Romance
Hi everyone... today I have a couple of layouts to share with you. This first is another snapshot from my trip to New York. These are just a few of all the carriages lined up outside Central Park, waiting to take lovers for a romantic ride through the park, or a couple of dorky tourists, either works LOL.
I loved the red in this shot, love red! But it's rarely a colour I scrap. I was away at retreat when I created this so I didn't have quite the right flower colours with me, so to get just the right colour I sprayed some Pincushion Flowers, 3cm Roses and Apple Blossoms with Holly Berries SmoochSpritz. I've sprayed the paper flowers before, but have always been hesitant with the fabric ones... Di reassured me it works a treat and it does, and it truly is so so easy!
I've added some white Cherry Blossoms for some lovely contrast. The Cherry Blossoms are one of my favourite 'tuck in' flowers, they always fit perfectly into empty spots and look equally as good in a cluster or by themselves. Here I've tucked one into a tear in my distressed edge and added a little bit of Silver Diamante Trim for a little bit of sparkle.
Tucked in here and there is some beautiful OffWhite Lace trim, topped with more Silver Diamante Trim. I've even found a gorgeous little carriage charm in my stash, how perfect!
A gorgeous cluster of red and white... Pincushion and Sakura Fabric Flowers, Cherry Blossoms and Apple Blossoms, pretty Lace and elegant Silver Diamante Trim and a sweet little chipboard heart... true romance!

This one is of my god-daughter. She lives 8 hours away from us now, thankfully Facebook helps me stay in touch, and allows me to grab photos of her to continue to scrapping her album I started when she was little. I loved this sepia image of her, doing some modelling for a local vintage clothing store.
I have used gorgeous white Wild Rose and Heirloom flowers here to freshen up the sepia in these Bo Bunny papers, and also some Light Brown 2cm Roses that were just the perfect colour!
I love to use the flat White Petals to layer and tuck in under clusters and underneath layers, they simply extend the clusters and help add some softness to edges.
I have added some ribbon layers, under and over the photo. Some Natural Jute, Coloured Jute and pretty Off White Lace. Just little snippets can add a lot of impact.
I only had a tiny bit of the Round Silver Diamante Trim left, so have cut it into singular sections and used it as sweet 'blingy' embellishments! I love that they match the centre of the Wild Rose so well!
A Walk in the Park
I created this one last month as a challenge with Natasha, she grabbed a sketch and we created our layouts using the same papers. We had to laugh when we realised we had both reached for the same Green Tara flowers!
Here's the sketch we used:

This beautiful Satin Rosette flower was the perfect shade for the green and blue hue of the papers, and a bow from Natural Jute Ribbon accented the natural tones of the layout.

Three layouts by Marie-Josée Hamel
Hello, Green Tara fans! Today, I will show you three different layouts that I created over the past month. All of them feature a different style. I hope you will like them!
"Îles" layout
This picture was taken during our trip to Îles-de-la-Madeleine (a beautiful place in my home province, Quebec, Canada). Since it was a bright and sunny day, I wanted to use bright and bold colors. I also chose a more clean a simple look.
As you can see, I used lots of mini-roses, my favorites, on this layout. I combined 4 different colors and sizes of roses. I also used three different kinds of leaves.
Green Tara products used:
Apple Blossoms (this color is not available now)
"Moment" layout
For this layout, I chose muted colors to create a more shabby look.
I used lots of big blooms on this layout: 2 Damask flowers, as well as a Wild Rose flower. The smaller white ones are Primula flowers.
Damask 8cm Fabric and Organza Flower Mustard
Wild Rose 6cm Silk and Organza Flower in Coffee
Primula 4.5cm Silk and Organza Flowers in White
1.5cm Roses Turquoise
1.5cm Roses Ivory
7.5cm Skeleton Leaves Natural
Lace, 2.4cm White

"MJ" layout
I created this layout earlier this month for the Once Upon a Sketch blog. Unlike many scrappers, I am a big fan of purple. Used with black, it gives a romantic feel to any layout. I am a lucky girl, because Green Tara has lots of beautiful purple blooms, among them the big one you see below, the Damask 8cm fabric and organza flower. They are one of my favorites.
I really like the Green Tara silver sprays. In this case, I used the 25cm Silver/Acrylic spray, cut it in two pieces and used them on each side of my picture.
I also like to combine big and tiny flowers. Here, I used 1 cm and 1.5 cm roses in black and lavender.

A Little Inspiration
by Natasha Naranjo Aguirre
Hi everyone! Natasha here with a few projects I made using some gorgeous Green Tara products!
Adorable You
This layout of my daughter is made with Donna Salazar's Family Jeans Collection.
I love pink & green together and these stunning Green Tara flowers matched perfectly. Here I used Primula flowers, Gardenias, Roses, Organza Pearl and Lace Pearl flowers. I also added pieces of Pearl Trim to my flower cluster.
I altered my background paper with paint, stamps and embossing powder.
How cute is this Polka Dot ribbon?! I cut the ribbon in half and created a little bow to place amidst my flowers. The green Primula flowers were dabbed with gesso to soften the look of it.
The word 'Adorable' was cut from the image sheet that coordinates with this paper collection. The chipboard alphas are also made to coordinate with this collection as well.

Crafty Tool Bucket
I needed a place to store my craft tools as I create, so I decided to alter an IKEA tin. This was so much fun to make and I really like how it turned out.
I adore this herringbone ribbon because it is so beautifully made and easy to work with.
For this bucket I used a combination of Gardenias, Apple Blossoms, Roses and Pearl Trim.
To create this look, I applied printed tissue to the surface of the metal bucket. Then I added gesso, color and White Opaque Flakes to give it a lovely texture.

Grungy Chic Box
This box is a little different from my normal colors/style, but I like to change things up every so often. I used an inexpensive wooden box from the craft store and covered it with gesso. Then I adhered strips of tissue tape on the top surface of the box and inked it all up.
I combined String Gel and Glimmer Mist and dripped the mixture all over the box. Love how that came out!
The large flower was originally a light pink and I misted it with a charcoal ink. I added Pink Cherry Blossoms, Roses, Lace and Herringbone Ribbon. The pearls and acrylic clusters were cut from a spray.
The trim along the bottom of the box was painted and inked to blend in. I love how the String Gel seeped into the spaces of the trim.

"Baby" & "Mini in a Box" by Vicky
"Baby"
Hello Green Tara followers!!xx
Today I am sharing two projects with you I started at a Greek crop day!!
I had a mini trolley bag with me and of course my Green Tara goodies!xx
I started by misting the white cardstock with red Dylusions and water! After that I used a clock mask with walnut stain distress ink, a stencil with some texture paste and random stamping!
Below I have used in my small cluster the red cobweb mesh as the base and then the primula flower, a small rose and the diamante trim!
In the main cluster I have used the white wild rose, diamante trim, small rose, a red satin rosette, the gorgeous red polka dot ribbon, flower lace and skeleton leaves!!
And look at that amazing stars on wire!! I think they add so much interest to the whole page!!!

"Mini album in a match box"
Now, that was a very interesting project!!
I don't do OTP projects often because of the lack of time so this crop was a perfect chance!!
I have "dressed" the box up with craft paper & I distressed it with gesso, distress inks and pink stickles!
It opens up pulling the white pearl knob!
My decoration consists of a white primula, black satin rosette, pink cherry blossom & rose, diamante trim, lace and skeleton leaves!
So, inside the box there is a cute mini album!!
To embellish the cover I have used roses, diamante trim & self adhesive white trim!
To bind it I used black paper string!
The inner decoration is very simple and flat because I could not use anything bulky.
So here I have used some mini tassel ribbon. On the mini tag I have used the mini loop trim!
Here is the mini loop trim on the tag again, diamante trim in the center of a flower shaped trim!!
And my two favorite ribbons: Cobweb Mesh in black and
Bud & Bow ribbon in pink!!!
