Kelly's March Inspiration

"Bundle Up"

Hi there, Green Tara fans! Kelly here, thanks for popping in today..I have a few projects to share and they are just loaded with GT goodies so I'll just get right to it! This first one is of my sweet and handsome nephew, all bundled up and looking cozy out in the snow.

I decided to go with some rich and warm orange and brown tones to match the photo. I used two of the beautiful Wild Roses, which were cut in half to tuck under my photo on either side. I then layered in some gorgeous leaves, roses, cherry blossoms, and more. I twirled up some of the Paper String for added texture in there as well.

Just a touch of ink added to the edges of some of the flowers and leaves...

"Happy Moments"

I kept this one pretty simple and minimalist (for me) and simply used a few little flowers along with that beautiful velvet Damask flower, a touch of lace, a bit of chipboard, and there you have it!

 I used the mini flowers and roses atop my chipboard flowers to bring some life into them!

"Home"

 This last page was created for this month's Once Upon A Sketch challenge.

 Aren't my girls just so sweet?

I love to twirl the wire stems on the velvet leaves and mini roses,

 and in this case I "hung" them upside down for a fun and whimsical look.

 I misted the Wild Rose, Apple Blossom, and Primula to go with the

 rainbow colors on my page.

"Our Sweet Girl"

Hello everyone, thanks for calling by.

Today I have three projects to share with you.

First up I have this layout called "Our Sweet Girl".

I have used lots of gorgeous Green Tara blooms to create

 a garden effect.

A lime Sakura flower, an apricot Wild  Rose with a jewelled centre,

a Primula which I sprayed lime, some yellow roses & then I also

 spray misted an apricot Heirloom flower to get just the right shade
of a deeper apricot.

I have also use some beautiful apricot Satin Edged Organza ribbon

to tie this gorgeous bow. So very opulent.

I have also tucked in some green Velvet leaves.

Both my chipboard garden seat & my title are from

2 Crafty chipboard.

Plus one of Green Tara's sweet little yellow Roses &

 a couple of their green Velvet Leaves.

Some more Roses, Velvet leaves & a butterfly.

I have also tucked a little piece of the brown Leaf Garland
 in on the right side of the photo & I have cut a couple of the little
 brown leaves off seperately & just tucked them in underneath the
yellow rose here in the top corner too.

"Hanging Bird Cage"

For my next project today I have decorated  another one of those
 hanging bird cages. I did one several months ago & I still had this
one left so I wanted to use it up. I wanted to keep it in a pink &
white colour scheme & Green Tara ceratinly has sooooo many
beautiful flowers in this colour palette so I was definitely spoilt
for choice.

To adorn the top of the cage I have tied a bow using one of the many

beautiful Green Tara ribbons. This is a Crinkle  Satin Edge Ribbon.

This ribbon is gorgeous & creates the most beautiful bows.

For my pink flowers I have used a  Damask flower at the top,

 Heirloom flowers, pink Roses in all different sizes.

For the white flowers I have used, Swarovski Crystal Satin Flowers,

4cm Heirlooms,  Sakura, different size Roses, Flower Spray,

some Organza Satin Roses

as well as some Cherry Blossoms.

I have also included some wonderfully opulent

Silver/Acrylic Leaf Sprays,  as well as 

some Silver/Acrylic Dragonfly Stems.

Just to add a little sparkle & a touch of WOW factor.

In case you want to know about the bird, well I just picked him up

in a two dollar store. Such a bargain !!!!

"Precious"

I made this layout a while back & of course I have used

lots of beautiful Green Tara goodness.

A large white Camelia is the focus & I have teamed it with several

different sized Roses in both white & light brown.

I have also woven in some white Flowers Sprays too.

I have  included my most favourite Jute Ribbon here in this bow.

I love this stuff as it just goes with absolutely everything & it

 also comes in various widths too.

A Layout and a Little Something Different By Shona

Hello to all you Green Tara Fans out there! Shona here and today I have a layout and a couple of other projects to share using lots of fabulous  Green Tara goodies. I have these gorgeous purple Green Tara blooms in my collection and I have been  waiting for the right photo to use them with.

 

In the top corner I have tucked in some fabulous Green Tara trims.
 The delicate cream lace ribbon with some coffee cobweb trims. 
I have also used some of the fun wire cord to circle the photos.

 

Here are those delicious purple Primula flowers.

 I have also used some Green Tara Wild Rose as the center piece

 flower and tucked in a white Flower Spray and added some

 Paper String to finish off the cluster. 

 

My next two projects are a bit different for me but I had so much fun making these two Tags. They are quite big, about 6 x 8 inches in size and just loaded to the max with beautiful Green Tara flowers and trims. 

 

This is the first tag…look at all those gorgeous Green Tara goodies on it. 

 

On the top corner I have an Apple Blossom and I have tucked in some Roses. These were all then sprayed with some mists to get the colors just perfect. 

 

The same flowers are in the main cluster surrounding a stunning Pincushion flower and I have tucked in some Pearl trim. On the bottom of the tag I have added some lace and then misted everything to bring it together. 

My second tag is also loaded with lots of Green Tara flowers and trims. 

 

In this cluster I have used a pretty Primula flower with some Cherry Blossoms tucked in. The lace underneath is so dainty and I have misted it to get the color I needed. Look at the fabulous Cobweb trim…its adds so much texture to your creations. 

 

Here I have used a cream colored Wild Rose flower and misted it to match my project. I just adore how everything can be misted to get the colors that you need for your creations. 

 

Before I go I wanted to share one more layout that I have created recently using lots of gorgeous Green Tara on it. I am usually not an orange person but these Wild Roses just worked out perfectly on this layout. I have also tucked in some Cherry Blossoms, delicate lace, ad the bits of black peaking out around the edges are also Green Tara Bud and Bow trim.

IN THE PINK with HEATHER

Hi everyone, 

I'm feeling in a PINK mood today.

' ME '

I clustered the roses, rose buds and velvet leaves around the altered
metal plate , adding a tiny piece of muslin for interest.

I created a pocket containing tags with hidden journaling about me,

and added some of my fave affirmations I use everyday.

I love to dry brush the chipboard with gesso using a small brush.

Dry brushing Process:

Add a tiny amount of gesso on a dry brush and swipe across the chipboard in a swift motion.

'CELEBRATE' 

 I love making cards to add with a gift

 and my fave at the moment is stacking die cuts ,

 lots of them, with the perfect addition of a Green Tara flower .

I fold the paper in thirds, adding strips of paper and tissue tape on the right hand edge.

Fold a circle around the edge and add some decorative chipboard ,

 lastly add a text stamp, here I chose to use "Celebrate".

They are fun to create and a handy way to use up scraps of left over paper from a layout .

    Rachael with you today....

 Most of my creations these days have Green Tara goodness.

 It's my turn to share with you what I have created recently....

My first layout is my Hubby & our two wonderful Children!!

I have used a few different Green Tara ribbons in this layout...

Strips of the Newer Organza Polka Dot Yellow 
& Turquoise ribbons, Also! a few strips of
 9mm Vertical Stripe Red/Blue ribbon.

My little cluster has a 1cm black rose, a 5cm Yellow Azalea,
two 3cm Yellow roses which I have inked the edges of in  black ink!!!

Next up is this a layout of Meee.... 

I don't know about you, BUT, I have a big pile of petals ranging from
 2cm to 10cm & in a few different colors...... 

WELL!

 Green Tara have worked there magic again & now sell Stamens..

SO! here I have created a couple of flowers layered a 4cm white Petal
which I had sprayed a light grey...

Then  a couple of 5cm Batik Green Petals & finished off
by inserting a few Black flocked stamens & Pink pearl stamens..

I also have a few mini White, Pale pink & black rosebuds
peeking out the side & a couple of 7cm Green fern leaves...

Again I have added some Green Tara ribbons... This time a strip of the
herringbone ribbon in black & Dusky Pink, then a strip of the
 self adhesive flower garland in white...
