Competition Winner

We are delighted to announce Linda Baldock as the winner of our latest competition.

We would like to thank everyone who made the effort and entered, the standard of entries was extremely high so it made it very difficult to pick a winner.

Lindas' entry however just had that little something extra that we were looking for.

We were so impressed with her work that we have appointed her to our design team.

Linda has big plans for the $500 of Green Tara products and we can guarantee that you will be seeing a lot more of Lindas' great work.

Congratulations again Linda ..well done.

Perfect for Heritage layouts

This layout I created for one of my Colour challenges at Scrapbook Creation Magazine.. Using the the different ribbons, Mesh and Skeltons leaves. The Mesh and ribbons are coloured perfectly with any of the on market mists and Inks...

My Mum and her sister had perfect legs back then, but they both still look good to this day...

Twist the mesh into a flower shape for something different, they look fantastic.

Silver Sprays

Had to have a play with the new 20cm Silver/ Acrylic leaf stems, and of course on a wire body form. In my imagination I thought they would be great for wings, teamed up with some Jute ribbon, A4 Gold/ White stripe paper and of course the roses...

Pure

I'm back !
just wanted to show how pretty the silver sprays can be on any layout !
We tend to steer away from purple, but I have to say purple and the silver sprays go well together!

So pretty...... and of course the apple blossoms .... Purple ones of course

I hope you are all busy working on your competition submission, can't wait to see them!

Grow

Angela has created this beautiful page using floral paper, Green Tara petals and Green Tara Spring flowers. Simple yet very effective.

Free Spirit

Angela has used Mod Podge on Green Tara mulberry paper to create the bird and wing. She has cut the bamboo from Green Tara paper and also used a double layer of Green Tara Spring flowers to get a fantastic 3D effect.

Japanese Leaf card

Angela has used Green Tara Japanese red/black paper mounted on black mulberry paper and then onto white card stock. The leaves are made from black/white and white/black Japanese paper which has been cut and stitched. It is finished with Green Tara black satin ribbon.

Bloom

Peta Burrows has used a neat technique of folding the petals over to form a lovely flower. The Bud n Bow looks really great and compliments the Lime Skeleton leaves really nicely.

Amarilla Card

On our way home on Sunday afternoon we popped into a fair being held at the local preschool and found this delightful card by Claire Apostoloff using Green Tara petals.
Needless to say we couldn't resist it and bought a couple of others as well

Steps

Angella Peardon has overlaid Pink paper string over the 3 layers of lace on the bottom of this delightful shot of a toddler and then added some Apple Blossoms which she has coloured to match the pink theme of the page...really cute

Loveable

Peta Burrows has used 3 different laces here and even cut the centres out of one of the white laces to make the centre of the black lace...very creative.

Our ever popular mesh looks great. With 22 colours to choose from there is bound to be one to suit any project

We have noticed the skeleton leaves are making a come back with demand increasing all the time.. so after many requests we now have 3 sizes of skeleton leaves in bulk packs of 100 leaves in 14 different colours. If we don't have the colour you want it is really easy to colour the natural leaves and have just the right colour you want.

The Skeleton leaves that Peta has used match the leaves in the paper nicely.

It's hard to see in the photo but the Silk and Swarovski flowers add a nice bit of sparkle to the page.

Giggles

How gorgeous are these two?

Peta Burrows has used the new metal photo corners on the photo and then coloured them with white Stazon ink, she has given the same treatment to the metal butterflies and small flower as well.

Just love the way she has threaded the Pink Champagne ribbon through the middle of the lace and then added the Bud n Bow to the bottom.

A lovely girly page with lots of pink flowers, well done Peta

1905

Close up of the Bead Garland on the Petals
1905. Isn't it great when old becomes new again!

Peta Burrows has really embraced the Heritage look with this photo of her Grandparents.

The laces work so well with heritage pages and she has used 3 different laces to really make a stunning page.

Peta has carried the bead garland from the bottom of the photo and cut individual segments and used them as centres on the flowers...how cool.

The bead garland is extremely popular especially for weddings, one of our clients recently used 6 rolls of bead garland on invitations and place holders for a wedding they did.

Year 6 and Bloom

Two great layouts by Linda Thompson of Scrapper's Garden. Linda has used our Lace ribbons to good effect to frame and highlight the photos.

The neat thing about all the lace ribbons is that they can be coloured to suit your project.

While at SIA last week Alison had lots of fun colouring lace, metal embellishments and petals with our neighbouring exhibitor who are distributors of the Copics range of pens and inks. We even had customers wanting to order the "new" colour vines only to tell them that it was done with the Copic pen!

You will see that Linda has coloured her vines as well as adding Silk and Swarovski flowers to add sparkle to the layouts

Anyone 4...

A very creative layout by Linda Thompson of Scrapper's Garden. Linda has used the Burgundy Mesh to create a flower and then topped it off with a Spring Flower. The bottom of the photo has been decorated using 2 different lace ribbons using inks to make them stand out even more, then overlaying with Olive Bud n Bow ribbon. Strategically placed Spring Flowers add the finishing touch to a great layout. All products by Green Tara.

Lace Layout by April

This gorgeous page uses Green Tara metal corners, Green Tara bead garland, Green Tara 7cm, 6cm and 4cm petals in White, Wedgewood Blue and Taupe. The large border of lace at the botton of the page is Green Tara lace L2898 Off White.

Stamped Flower Card

Another brilliant creation from Peta. This card used white cardstock, Green Tara skeleton leaves, Green Tara black Bud 'n Bow ribbon and a Green Tara 10cm white petal which has been stamped and finished with a button centre.
