A little bit of Green Tara Goodness

"Family Canvas"
Using a little quote and a lot of Green Tara goodies I created this canvas for my wall. I have used lots of texture paste, masks, tissue paper and glimmer mist.
Taking an Organza satin rose I cut the stamens off then coloured it with black glimmer mist and a touch of cream paint, by letting it dry naturally it left a more mottled affect on the organza petals.
A large Heirloom black flower takes center place in the flower cluster, teamed up with Apple Blossoms that have been inked. A black Flower Spray, Lace Pearl flower, Rose Buds, Heirloom small, Roses & Leaves.
Green Tara lace has been added to the bottom and coloured with glimmer mist sprays.
More Green Tara lace and mesh ribbon, along with a small Heirloom flower that has been coloured with distress ink. An organza Rose, coloured with glimmer chalk.
White leaves also coloured with distress ink.
Cobweb mesh ribbon has been torn up and added around the words
and a few scattered throughout the flowers.

"Friends Canvas"
6x6
Starting with a 6x6 canvas I created a textured background
using wall tape that I found at the hardware as
well as some Green Tara lace.
The background was made from a rows of grid tape,
Green Tara Self adhesive Satin Flower ribbon & 1cm Lace.
Using a mask and texture paste I created some great textures.
Spraying the canvas with 4 different colours of glimmer mist,
and distress ink in brown on the edges for colour.
Then the layers start, first with a few pieces of paper,
a doily cut in half and also sprayed.
Then lots of yummy Green Tara flowers. The cherry blossoms
have been sprayed green and the tips of the petals dipped
in some left over spray.
A Memory Maze frame has been used & once everything was stuck
down I watered down some gesso and applied it randomly all over the
canvas, flowers and embellishments.

Dream Heart
Filled with Green Tara Love
I found this cane heart which is approx 8' and it came pre-painted white.
I started off by spraying the heart with orange/peach and green spray then flicked black watered down paint onto it.
Its all about the flowers, Green Tara flowers that is,
how amazing do all these flowers look together?
I started with a large white wild rose and sprayed the outside edges. I took a piece of black flower lace and cut a single flower off it. I then split it and cut the center out of it and wrapped it around the center of the flower.
This used to be a white Daisy with wood center
This amazing bright orange flower used to be a ivory Heirloom flower.
Cobweb ribbon has been torn up and tucked here and there in the flower cluster.
This cute altered flower is a white Damask flower that has been painted.
I made a Rose vine using leaves and a couple of roses.
A little nest and handmade resin bird.
Cherry blossoms have been sprayed black & green.
Memory Maze chipboard balloon & word also glimmer misted
and some Green Tara trims tied to the top.
